Avec ce CD, vous êtes en Bresse, au Nord de Lyon, dans un joli bocage. C’est le début de juin, lorsque le chœur des oiseaux de l’aube atteint son maximum d’intensité. Les enregistrements sont faits entre cinq et sept heures, dans un périmètre de quelques kilomètres de côté avec un bois, un ruisseau, une haie et un étang. Les enregistrements de Jean C. Roché sont décrits dans un livret de 12 pages avec commentaires français et anglais.

This CD takes you to the unspoilt countryside of the Bresse region in France. It’s the beginning of June, the time when the dawn chorus is at its peak. The recordings were all made in the early morning between 5 am and 7 am, and all within a small area encompassing a wood, a hedgerow and a lake. Features a 12 pages booklet with both French and English notes on Jean C. Roché’s recordings.
